My Personal Philosophy

Hi! I am Colleen, the self-professed Ordinary Philosopher. I love teaching, learning, and crafting. Here you'll find links to stained glass classes (see the Glass Corner), blog installments that provide context for living in an ever changing world, and a small shop where you can support my artistic endeavors. 

I find joy in all forms of art and creativity, with a special love for words, quotes, and functional art that brings meaning into everyday life. I create handmade cards because I believe the simple act of receiving mail can brighten someone’s day. Through thoughtful gifts and creations from my classes, I aim to remind people they are loved and appreciated, infusing care and connection into everything I make.

By profession, I am a mediator and attorney with a deep passion for improving the judiciary. I believe that access to justice is the cornerstone of a fair and equitable society

My secret love is introducing technology to teams to improve outcomes. I specifically enjoy it when the future collides with the present, much as AI is doing today. I see AI as the next evolution—a superhuman printing press that is reshaping how we connect and interact.

My creative work encompasses stained glass, collage, and writing, with outcomes that include handcrafted greeting cards, stained glass suncatchers, and reflective blog posts. Through my writing, I explore the philosophies that have guided me in addressing and overcoming life's challenges.
